The Ribera health group today incorporates the Assistens Clinic in A Coruña, in an operation which confirms its commitment to the north-west of Spain, where it already has three hospitals and a network of clinics in Galicia, and another hospital recently incorporated into the group, in Asturias. In fact, one of the health centres which the group already has in Galicia, the Ribera Juan Cardona hospital (Ferrol), will be the reference hospital for this clinic.
The Assistens Clinic has more than 3,400 square metres of floor space where more than 110 professionals offer healthcare services in more than 30 specialities to patients, from the Ophthalmology Unit to Traumatology, Psychology, ENT, Digestive and Plastic Surgery, among others.
The aim of the Ribera health group is to continue the good work carried out to date by Assistens’ professionals, while at the same time contributing its experience in order to grow the clinic and strengthen its important portfolio of health services for the citizens of the A Coruña area and opening up to collaboration with the administration, highlighting its more than 25 years of experience in health management.
In addition, Assistens professionals and patients will benefit from the synergies and cross-cutting projects and areas of the Ribera Group, which already has 1,800 beds and nearly 9,000 professionals.
